CPT INC. GO Green is an innovated food tray manufacture that offers both Recyclable and Compostable packaging solutions and associated sealing films. 

Our Go Green Process provides a Green alternative to standard thermoformed packaging, and our proprietary Green Technology takes the choice away from the consumer by having a Green factor built into the tray before the contents is added.  In addition, for those consumers that choose to recycle the tray at the end of life, All CPT GO GREEN trays are # 5 recyclable and could be disposed of in most curb side recycling programs collecting the #5 material. The Go Green solution offers  both a Cradle and a Grave Green Factor for your package.

CPT manufactures a full range of rigid green packaging solutions that reduce carbon footprints and assist your customers to achieve their carbon reduction targets. Go Green’s range of rigid solutions provides different functionality and performance for a wide range of applications. 

Go Green Polypropylene – for high barrier and shelf stable applications.  Go Green rigid microwaveable polypropylene trays are the material of choice for extended shelf life.  Manufactured with proprietary technology generating less scrap and utilizing less energy, Go Green trays have up to 30% less carbon footprint (ISO certified), compared to standard thermoformed packaging.  Trays are labeled #5 widely recycled (How2recycle qualified). 

Go Paper – For low barrier carrier trays, Go Green Paper offers the perfect solution.  The unique 8 corner design results in excellent strength and can be heat sealed. Go Green Paper trays perform in both microwave and oven and are repulpable, recyclable and compostable.

Go Over – APET trays made from recycled plastic for use with Over-wrap.  Stronger than PS foam trays, Go Over smooth edge trays will not break during production or transportation.  Trays are labeled #1 widely recycled.

Go VSP Board - a paper-based tray material that provides an easy peel rigid base for meat, fish or other food packed in a vacuum skin package. Go VSP Board is recyclable in most paper streams, with a thin layer of barrier coating that resists humidity, oxygen and grease. Go VSP Board reduces the amount of plastic used in a high barrier package.
