The Dual Side Seam Case (DSSC) will fast track sustainable innovation through its innovative design.
The DSSC uses less board than a RSC to produce the same sized box. This feature significantly
reduces the amount of material used to produce a DSSC compared to a RSC. Also, the DSSC has
improved stacking strength compared to the RSC. This feature means that less board consumption is
used compared to the RSC as the less thicker fluted DSSC can have the same stacking strength as a
thicker fluted RSC. This feature not only reduces board consumption but also allows more DSSC’s to
be stacked on a pallet meaning reduced fuel consumption and increased warehouse space.
